    Fast pace of the globalization process ensures changes of industrialization, urbanization, economic and political liberalization, social and environmental policies in the global scale, which is related to hight benefits for population, however, this process has a negative impact on public health, which causes the environment pollution, climate change, bio-terrorism, military conflicts, humanitarian disasters, etc. As a result, the growth of healthcare expenditures is acute for any country. Healthcare is a special area of ​​service that plays a major role in shaping quantitative and qualitative indicators of economic growth. An effective healthcare system is a guarantee of national security. Thus, the proper and successful operation of the healthcare system is essential for increasing the country's welfare and socio-economic development. At this stage, we will focus on the problems of spread of innovations in the Georgian healthcare sector, because modern technologies and innovations give the opportunity to solve the problems that actually exist in the Georgian healthcare sector: high prices and low availability of benefits, unsatisfactory quality of medical care, problems in primary health care, problems related to spread of innovations and etc.
